About Radon Central: Your Trusted Radon Mitigation Specialist in Ontario

Radon Central is a locally owned Ontario company founded by Darren Johnson, with a clear mission: helping homeowners improve indoor air quality by reducing radon exposure through professional and reliable radon mitigation systems built to Canadian standards.

Centrally located in Simcoe County, Radon Central operates as a service-based business and is available to travel within approximately a two-hour radius to serve homeowners across the region.

Darren brings a unique combination of real estate experience and hands-on construction knowledge to every project. Before starting Radon Central, he spent years working as a realtor in Simcoe County, building a deep understanding of residential homes, construction practices, and the level of trust homeowners place in the professionals they hire.

Through that experience, Darren saw firsthand how often radon is overlooked — and how many homeowners are left without clear guidance after discovering elevated levels during radon testing. As awareness of radon continues to grow across Ontario, more families are testing their homes and looking for qualified professionals they can trust to solve the problem properly.

With a background in construction and practical building experience, Darren designs and installs radon mitigation systems that are not only effective but also clean, efficient, and thoughtfully integrated into the home. Most systems are discreetly installed in utility spaces and built to deliver long-term performance with minimal disruption.

As a C-NRPP registered radon mitigation professional, Darren follows nationally recognized Canadian guidelines and best practices for every installation. Radon Central is committed to doing the job right — from initial assessment to system design, installation, and post-installation support.

At Radon Central, homeowners can expect:

Clear, honest recommendations

Professional-grade system design and installation

Clean, minimally invasive workmanship

Reliable communication from start to finish

If you are considering improving the safety of your current space, Radon Central provides trusted radon mitigation services throughout Simcoe County and surrounding areas.
